Our items are made of recycled weathered New England barn board. No changes are made to the surface of the board. So what you see is actually part of a barn recreated into a distinctive looking piece of furniture. Most people like the looks of the red board, but all items can be made from natural colored or a combination of stock as well. Hidden interior shelves and drawers are made of recently milled pine. Finished pieces are coated with an invisible matte acrylic to seal and protect the surfaces. Red Top furniture is designed for inside use and, if treated appropriately, will last a lifetime. If a piece is placed outside, we strongly suggest an additional coat(s) of matte urethane and do not warrant its longevity. The furniture shown in our gallery is durable, classic in line and suitable for a variety of settings. Some of our friends use various pieces in a single room scheme, while others may have a table or cabinet to complement other furniture. We have made some suggestions in the gallery.
